Title "MAIDEN'S FOUNTAIN" BOOKENDS.
Book Condition This listing is for a pair of vintage bookends -- I believe they were made in the 1922 by Ronson (the metal is stamped on the back "LVA (Louis V. Aronson) 1922" . They depict a monk reading in a library. The are probably white metal and appear to have been hand-painted. They have original green felt on the bottoms. There is a label on the bottom of one of the bookends that has the number 16434 and is marked "D.F.G. effect."

This is a very attractive set of painted cast iron bookends called "Maiden's Fountain" Very hard to find in polychrome. Painted cast iron. Paint is very good. See photos.
